One connected product. Two experiences.
A personal AI-assisted space for patients between sessions, and a professional view of the context they choose to share — connected by a patient-controlled loop.
From a reflection to the next session.
What each step looks like in the current prototype. These are screens from a synthetic demo with fictional data and simulated AI: interface references, not one recorded session. Not every part is built yet.
01 · Reflection · in the patient’s space
Put it into words.
By writing or by voice, close to when it happens. The patient uses their own words; nothing goes anywhere yet.

Synthetic demo, top of the writing screen. This site’s example sentence, typed in. Voice is switched off in the demo.
02 · Review and choice · in the patient’s space
Check what it says, then choose.
Light AI help suggests a summary and key points. The patient changes anything that does not reflect their experience, and can mark it for the next session. Then the patient decides: keep it private, share it with the professional, or discard it. Private or shared: both are complete. Before anything is shared, the patient sees exactly what the professional will receive, and what is not shared.
The screen shown before sharing also says that sharing doesn’t mean it will be read or answered right away, and that in this beta a shared reflection can’t be made private again or deleted. MentaLoop is not an emergency service.

Simulated AI, synthetic demo. The priority is marked by the patient. Then: Discard, Keep private or Share.

If shared: shown before the patient confirms.
03 · Professional preparation · in the professional view
Only if the patient chooses to share.
Prepare with context.
The professional sees the summary the patient approved, the priority the patient marked — only if they marked one — and can open the full reflection or transcript that was shared.

Synthetic demo: a different fictional reflection, in Italian, not the example above.

The original, as the patient shared it.
Patient space
- Capture — Writing or voice, between appointments, close to when it happens.
- Review — Edit the suggested summary. The patient stays the author.
- Keep — Private reflections and drafts stay in the patient’s space and can be revisited.
- Decide — Keep private, share with the professional, or discard. Mark what to discuss next time.
Professional view
- Shared context — The summaries the patient approved and shared since you last met.
- Stated priorities — Shown only when the patient marked one, kept apart from everything else.
- Original material — The full reflection or transcript the patient shared.
Also being designed: descriptive change over time with its sources, where any AI-suggested pattern is labeled as a hypothesis; questionnaires and activities between appointments. AI helps organize and summarize; it is not therapy, does not diagnose and does not make clinical decisions.
